Being induced on Tue night and kinda scared?

I will be 39 weeks and 5 days when they start at 9 PM on Tue. I have been at 1cm for like 4 weeks now. I am measuring 44 weeks, so you can imagine how miserable I am. I am not dialating but thinning out, so they are gonna use that tablet that they insert into your cervix. I have heard some bad things about the tab, but I totally trust my doctor. He said it is supposed to make you dialate and have contractions. Has anyone been induced this way? I am going to have the pitocin drip also and he will break my water. I am getting kinda nervous.
