My electricity bill through Reliant Energy has SKYROCKETED! help?

ever since they put in a smart meter last month, my kw/h are more than 10 times their normal usage from the past 9 months of being in my home. Does anyone know who I talk to, or dispute with, to get this solved? Neither the electric retailer nor the place who runs the smart meter will help and say nothing is wrong, but I refuse to take that for an anwer. HELP PLEASE
