I would like to live on an island and travel the carribean for life,no "American dream" ?

i dont want the american dream where i work all day come home to bratty children, get underpayed and have a boring life were all i look forward to is beer and football.....i already own a boat...dont plan on having kids or a wife and want to just live life to the fullest :)....so i was wondering if this seems right cuz everyone looks at me like a nutcase when i say it...they think im a pirate(which would be sick).
