As a Medical Interpreter can I see the patient's Medical Record?

I have been a Medical Interpreter for years and rarely had the opportunity to access the patient's Medical Records,can you go deep in the confidentiality area?, most of the agencies that hire us are bound by confidentiality??? Please help a have a five minute presentation about this? Thank you very much for your help
