What do you think of Obama's plan?

I think we should lift the embargo. Cubns who live here now can only (legally) visit their families in Cuba once every 3 years. And as an American, I think I should be allowed to visit Cuba if I feel like it. Why restrict my freedom in any way? We deal with China, which is not exactly a democracy, so why not lift the embargo with Cuba? And if Obama wants to talk with Cuba's new leader, they are a very close neighbor, so opening the communications and acknowledging that neither party is out to destroy the other would be a good step. The embargo has hurt the Cuban people more than it's hurt Castro, which is what it was inteneded to do.
