How would an idiot respond to being yelled at? (Don't worry, it's for a character in a story I'm writing)?

Low IQ is marked by some deficiency such as inhibition. I imagine it would be very emotional in real life. They would cry, run, fight etc. I can't help you with the comic timing but that's just an insight into how it might work in real life.
