Do people actually agree with Sarah Palin's attitude toward science?

Unfortunately, many people do agree with her. It's shocking how many people in this country know little about science, how it works, and how it affects their daily lives. Since you cannot predict where an avenue of research may lead, ALL avenues are valid. This is something the mes do not understand.
