What is the cutest and most unexpected thing you have encountered at a wedding? please share yours.?

my niece was married in may. she is a very intelligent girl, 4.0 average thro college, sweet, kind, quiet. not one that ever throws you such an "unexpected". but they played "all shook up" by elvis while "walking" (more like bopping) back down the isle together after the ceremony. no she's not really what you would call an elvis fan but it went over great!!!! it was so unexpected after such a trdional service, everybody smiled and laughed as they ped by. it was kinda like an instant celebration after "i do." the reception was just food and visiting......no music or band.. part of what was so great is she had told only 2 or 3 people and the family or entire wedding party did not know either!!

I think my friend is only hurting herself?

My friend has been pregnant 7 times and never carried to ful-term. She usually miscarries within the first 3 months, but one fetus did make it to 29 weeks before she went into labor. it was stillborn. Her docs have told her that she will never carry to full term, there is too much scar tissue in her uterus. (I don't know from what) Now she is 28, financially secure, no reason that she shouldn't keep trying. Except that it destroys her and her husband every time she gets pregnant and loses the baby. I love her and want to see her have a child of her own, but I think that she's only hurting herself by continuing to try. What do you guys think?

HOW LATE CAN YOUR PERIOD BE DUE TO STRESS?? AND WHAT WERE YOUR FIRST SYMPTOMS?

You can completely miss the month due to stress. My first symptom was morning sickness (all day) O thought I had the flu! I'd give it another week then test again

Now that the Bears got some offensive weapons will they at least compete on offense?

Most of the people who answered above me are fools. Drafting a quarterback would have done nothing, as he wouldn't have started anyways. The competition is really between Orton and Grossman. Grossman has talent but he tries to force things. He has a high ceiling but an even lower floor. Orton's floor isn't nearly as low as Grossman's but his ceiling is also not nearly as high. The guy claiming Matt Forte is a joke has never watched a game Tulane has played in. I also don't see what makes him a talent scout, so don't listen to him. Marty Booker is similar to Muhsin Muhammad and hes younger and cheaper. I expect the same amount of production from him. Branden Lloyd is not very good, so someone will have to step up whether it's a rookie or a veteran. Chris Williams will probably be a turn style his first season, but at least he will develop. I don't think they will be miraculous on offense, but probably better than last season. I also don't expect them to make it to the playoffs, but it certainly is possible. Don't listen to all the haters most of them just like bashing the Bears and don't base anything on facts.

Can i automatically win by default?

i filed a motion to terminate my ex's parental rights. He has not answered the due date nor does he care. I will be going to court this wednesday. Will I automatically win by default if he does not show up? My ex has a record of viewing internet child , abandonment of his 2 children, failure to be a father for my 3 year old daughter., failure to provide etc.... Will the judge automatically grant my motion and terminate all his rights because he failed to show up or even answer ? I live in Canada.

Christmas Drama issues with my family!?

I am in my late twenties and my parents usually throw the "traditional" Italian X-Mas eve dinner. I am now engaged (1 yr on Xmas Day this year '10). And my older sister (mid thirties) is married for 2 yrs. I was told by my family ( in the summer) that they don't care where we go. I told my family 2 weeks ago I would like to spend it (X-Mas Eve) with my fiance and her family this year and then spend X-Mas day with them. Well my parents flipped the $&!? out!! They started screaming and yeling saying that they were invited to my estranged Uncles house on X-Mas day and we (my sister and I) wont see them until Dec 26th not even for breakfast or gifts on the 25th. I am heart broken and I can't stop getting emotional over it and my parents started the whole guilt trip saying they are the last to know everything blah blah blah blah. Am I wrong for telling to grow up I mean these people are in their 50's for crying out loud. They don't seem to realize that family dynamics and things change. I do not know what to do.....any advice out there?
